Children's Ministry
To be honest, this is our favorite ministry here at FUMC. We are committed to making disciples and it all begins with our children. We want to be a congregation that ministers to families as they seek to raise their children in the ways of the Lord. Here are FUMC we have begun to build a program to which will help families effectively grow in Christ.
Our main two weekly opportunities of ministry to children occur on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening.
Sunday morning we offer Sunday School with a special series, "LIVE BIG!" from 9:45 until 10:30. Then on Wednesday evenings we offer children's programming from 6PM until 7PM. These programs work with children in a variety of ways to let them know God loves them and how they can come to know Him. Whether it be through acting out scripture, discussion, crafts or singing songs - we want to make sure they are grounded in scripture and are moving into a relationship with the Living God!
Also, we offer annual events for our children. In July we offer VBS and in October we offer the Fall Festival. Both are great events to reach our children as well as the community for Christ. Both of these events are fantastic moments each year in the life of our congregation.
