WOMEN’S CONFERENCE FOR SPIRITUAL RENEWAL

WHERE: Leeds FUMC Family Life Center

WHEN:  Friday, March 5, 2010, 6:00-8:30 p.m. (dinner included - 6:00-7:00 p.m.)

                 Saturday, March 6, 2010, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (lunch included)

WHAT:  This will be a time for spiritual renewal for women of all ages, a time for

                 praise, a time to hear wonderful messages through talented soloists and

                 other Godly women, and a time for fellowship with our sisters-in-Christ.

COST:    $20 (covers costs for two (2) hot meals and Saturday snacks)

THEME: PSALM 3:3 “OH, LORD, YOU ARE A SHIELD AROUND ME, MY GLORY AND THE ONE THAT LIFTS UP MY HEAD.” 

KNOW GOD’S WAY

Psalm 25:4 Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths.

TRUST IN GOD

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all you heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

FEAR NOT

Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

The purpose of this weekend is spiritual renewal. Today’s women face a mountain of challenges, juggling jobs, children, homes, etc. Sometimes the challenges cause fears that are hard to overcome. Even with strong conviction of faith we, at times, need additional renewal. This weekend offers just that. The messages and testimonies will reinforce the need for growth through study of God’s word. This study will teach us God's ways and help us learn to trust him and not be fearful. Come join us for this special weekend and give yourself an opportunity to be spiritually renewed in order to be strong in a fearful world. God is a shield around us, our glory and the lifter of our heads.
